Festival Makers

Young Producers Wanted!

Festival2Funky is back on May 24th - 26th with three packed days of live music, clubnights, DJs, masterclasses, industry panels and workshops; including a variety of high profile artists.
This year we have new opportunity for young people interested in arts events management to join us as Festival Makers!

As a Festival Maker you will be working with a team of other young producers to design, co-ordinate and manage a special event and/or radio programming for Festival2Funky; a celebration of black music and arts across three venues in Leicester's vibrant West End.

You will learn a broad range of skills with the option to focus on your area of interest, including artist/stage management, music event programming, social media marketing, radio journalism and broadcasting.

Festival Makers will work alongside Festival 2Funky producers/artists, receive full training from industry professionals and gain Arts Award accreditation.
Once trained, Festival Makers will have on going opportunities to produce other 2Funky music and radio events.

This is a 7 week programme - Tuesdays 6-8pm plus one day of the festival. Festival Makers will receive free access to all Festival2Funky events.

Places are free but limited. To book your place, email
