DMU is honoured to welcome Jazzie B, pioneering DJ, music producer, entrepreneur and founding father of iconic group Soul II Soul.  Winner of the inaugural Ivor Novello Award for Inspiration, Jazzie B is credited with taking Black British music into the mainstream. He has produced and remixed tracks for legendary artists such as James Brown, Isaac Hayes and Destiny’s Child, picking up 2 Grammys along the way.  Here he talks to Carol Leeming (Dare to Diva) about his outstanding career and demonstrates how Soul II Soul created their ground breaking groove.
